Chanel Riva

Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to show you the new must have color from Chanel, Riva! It came out with the Cote d'Azure collection. There was so much hype around this color. Some blogs were saying that it was sold out even before it came out, but I had no problem finding it on Chanel.com. Right now they are having free shipping too. The color is a great, pale baby blue with some blue shimmer. Unfortunately the shimmer is only visible in the bottle and in direct sunlight. Although I love this color, I can't help but to be a little disappointed by the formula. It is very sheer and it took three coats to get this coverage, some nails could even use a fourth! I just think that if you are going to charge $27 for a nail polish, the formula should be amazing. I still don't regret getting it, because I like to have the popular Chanel colors and this is definitely one of them.

Hoje eu vim mostrar a nova sensacão da Chanel, o Riva! Falaram tanto desta cor, que alguns blogs estavam até falando que ele já estava esgotado mesmo antes do lancamento! Eu comprei no site da Chanel sem problemas nenhum. A cor é linda, um azul bebe com brilhos leves. O brilho só da pra ver no vidro e no sol, mas tudo bem. o que me deixou um pouco triste foi a formula :( Na foto, usei 3 camadas e algumas unhas poderiam ter levado 4! Eu gostei muito da cor, mas acho que se for para cobrar $27 dollares, a formula tem que ser maravilhosa! Tem que ser um esmalte nota 10 e o Riva não é. Não me arrependi, porque eu já sabia disso quando comprei; eu tinha lido em outros blogs. Eu gosto de ter as cores mais famosas da Chanel, então tudo bem a gente arruma mais paciencia para usar um azulzinho fofo da Chanel!

If there is one thing that I love, is vanilla scents. I especially love food scented things. On Black Friday, I stopped by Bath and Body Works and found this amazing candle. It smell likes homemade cookies! Such a comforting smell! They usually cost $19, but they were on sale 2 for $20. My house smells awesome now!

Se tem uma coisa que eu amo, é cheirinho de baunilha. Estou amando coisas com cheiro de comida, tipo essa vela otima que eu comprei na Bath and Body Works. Comprei duas com o mesmo cheiro e minha casa inteira está com cheirinho de cookies!

Another thing that I am in L-O-V-E with is this buttercream cupcake shower smoothie from Ulta. I bought the shower smoothie, which is a multi purpose product and the matching lotion. The shower smoothis is a shower gel, shampoo, and bubble bath. I only use it as a bubble bath and as a shower gel, because it is a very basic shampoo. I need something that will provide more specific care for my hair. I love showering with this and then applying the body lotion afterwards. The smell is very sweet and long lasting on your skin without being overwhelming. As you can see in the picture, I've been using it and abusing it haha.

Outra coisa que eu estou AMANDO é este shower smoothie de cupcake. Ele é um produto multi-uso que pode ser usado como gel de banho, shampoo, e banho de espuma. Eu só utilizo como gel de banho e para banho de espuma, porque ele é um shampoo muito basicão e eu gosto de algo melhor para meu cabelo. Eu adoro tomar banho com o gel e passar o creminho depois do banho. O cheiro de cupcake é bem doce e me lembrou do creme de Laka da Boticario que saiu com a colecão Fun Milk. Como aquele foi edicão limitada, eu estou feliz da vida que achei um substituto, porque adoro esses cheiros!!!! Dá até pra ver que eu uso e abuso desses produtos rsss.



Gaga For MAC!

I just got the Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick. I actually like it more than I thought I would. It's a bubble gum pink and it's buildable. You can control how bright you want it to be. I think it would look great on many different skin tones. A+ I love it!

Acabei de comprar o batom Viva Glam da Lady Gaga. Eu gostei mais do que eu pensei que fosse gostar. Ele é rosa chiclete e dependendo da quantidade que você aplicar, fica vibrante ou mais discretinho.Acho que é o tipo de cor que ficaria bom em varios tons de pele. Achei nota 10! Amei!

Katy Perry and OPI

Katy Perry not only gets attention for her funky outfits and catchy songs, but also for her crazy nails. I love it! She is my new nail muse haha! She wears anything from glittery purple nails to minx with her husband's picture. Now OPI has taken notice and she is getting her own nail polish collection. The collection includes 6 colors that are as funky and different as Katy's style. They range from glitters to a black crackle effect. Sadly, we are gonna have to wait until January 2011 :( Scroll down to the bottom, because I included a video posted on Youtube by OPI giving us a sneak peak of the collection.

Essie Fall Collection

Essie launched this great fall collection and for some reason it was so damm hard to find! I went to various Ultas and nobody had this collection. I bought mine on Amazon for a pretty good price. I think I paid $13.00 for the three bottles. I purchased the three that appealed to me the most. Essie is definitely stepping it up and moving on from the streaky pinks. The formula on these was great. They were all 2 coaters.

The first one that caught my eye was Sew Psyched! Love it! It reminded me of Chanel's Khaki Vert, but  with a hint of pearl. I got many compliments when I wore this. It fits right into the military trend.

Merrino Cool was next and it reminded me of OPI's Parlez Vous OPI. This color is a grayish purple color that put me right in the mood for fall.

Limited Addiction is pretty normal and red, but it is a very nice, blue based red. If you enjoy reds, this is a prefect shade of red. Now matter how much I enjoy my crazy colors, I love a good red. I couldn't stop staring at my hands when I had this one. I feel like my hands looked very refined haha

Mac Venomous Villains

A Mac is always launching interesting collections and this time they definitely got it right. This collection is based on the Disney Villains!!!! Yay! I have been excited about this collection from the moment I found out about it. It includes 4 mini collections within a collection. The villains are Cruella (101 Dalmations), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Evil Queen (Snow White), and Dr. Facillier (Princess and the frog.) I went to an event, got to try the products, and dress up as the Evil Queen :) Here's what I chose:

It's a beautiful light pink. The color here is not very accurate, it reminded me of Dame blush. It is opaque enough that you can use this as a blush, which is what I have been doing. What I love about beauty powder packaging is that, when I run out of the product, I can depot it and replace it with my mineralize skinfinish powder. That way you get a cute little compact with a mirror.

I love the nail polishes! They are from the Maleficent collection. I wish MAC had done cute packaging for these. The packaging is like all the other nail polishes; nothing special. I bought 2 out of 3. They are called Formidable and Bad fairy. I'll post pictures when I use them.

This blush looks scary! It isn't though. If you apply a light hand, you will get a nice, healthy flush of color. It is a reddish, coral color.

This lipstick is perfect if you are a nude lip kind of girl or boy (I don't discriminate) like me. It is a creamsheen so it looks like you have some gloss on. Vey nice!

Wicked Ways is this great red lipglass. It bleeds, so you have to wear it with lipliner or you can use it over a red lipstick. In liked it, but it's nothing special. The second one is Strange Potion which is a very nice coral. I haven't seen a lot of colors like this. It's also pretty opaque.
